My Successful Dog Portrait Craftsman Qualification
I qualified for my Craftsman with The Guild of Photographers with my dog portraits!
I’m over the moon. It’s been a lot of hard work and the quality has to be of a really high standard from the images photographed, the fine editing to the printed image but it was worth it for the achievement.
My panel is made up of Dog Portraits, a mixture of breeds from clients that have brought there dogs into my studio, everything from a Cockapoo to a Sharpei!
Each image has to be presented in high quality print and displayed in an order which complemented the panel as a whole, I was really careful to make sure each portrait, the background and dog pose, colour and ‘look’ matched with the one above, to the sides and the two rows.
This is how my panel was presented in-person for the judges.
