What an amazing evening after an incredible year. I’m still shocked!!
Firstly I would like to thank everyone who messaged either directly or on my page before of after the event, family, friends, clients and followers …unbelievable!
Special mention to my family for putting up with the endless work involved in starting a new business and the endless editing in perfecting my photography and pushing my craft as far as I can.
And a huge thank you to The Guild of Photographers, Lesley and Steve, Gavin Prest my Mentor and of course my Buddy Group for 2018 ‘I.O.M GOING FOR GOLD’ What a year and can’t wait for the next! Iain Poole, Tracey Lund, Neil Bremner, Lisa Scott-Wordley, Teresa Gregory and Mark Lynham.

I brought it home to the North East… I  won The Guild of Photographers Pet category! Yes!
It was a very busy evening at Crewe Hall, where I was honored to collect the following awards…

and as if that wasn’t enough…

Runner-up (2nd) in the ‘Open Category’ Photographer of the year
3rd Overall (all categories, all photographers) Photographer of the Year

So which image landed me the title? It was my portrait of Rab the Phantom Cockapoo which took the top spot, I bet when Trish (Rab’s Humum) came for a portrait she never expected this!
